How do I increase my vertical jump?
Answered By Bailey Hirsche, Editor
Vertical jump is simply defined as the ability to raise a player's gravity higher in the vertical plane and use the muscles to do the shoot. It is measured as to how high a player can jump off the ground and land on the plane still standing.
It can be increased through strength training. You should focus much of your attention at the posterior chain that is the glute muscles, lower back, claves and hamstrings. These muscles are used in doing the vertical jump. With constant drill or practice, these muscles can gain more strength. This will make a good vertical jump.
Aside from improving your strength, you should increase your speed as well. Speed is the measurement on how fast you can do the vertical jump. The player is important to exert the maximum effort on increasing the speed of it as it can be a great help in winning the game. Speed training is also a great requirement if you want to improve the speed used in vertical jump.
